On the weekend of 14th and 15th of December teacher training for the D-PAIDEIA project took place in a lively and festive atmosphere at the Impact Hub in Athens.
As part of the European forward-looking projects initiative, the project focuses on advancing research and developing innovative pedagogical approaches in education. During the training, participants explored European and national education policies, examined digital tools for self-assessing teachers’ digital competencies, and discussed crucial topics such as internet safety, digital dependencies, and the risks associated with them.

The sessions also highlighted creative ways to leverage digital tools to make lessons more engaging and inspiring for students. By integrating imagination and creativity into their teaching, educators can achieve their pedagogical goals while fostering a dynamic learning environment.
There was interest and participation from schools and teachers from Thebes, Chalkida, and Athens for their enthusiastic participation and meaningful discussions. The training was conducted by D-PAIDEIA trainers—Viki Georganta, Ifigenia Georgiadou, and Corinna Pertsinidou—whose collaborative, inclusive, and cheerful approach brought invaluable knowledge and experience to the sessions.
