CENTER FOR CREATIVE TRAINING ASSOCIATION (CCTA)

Center for Creative Training Association (CCTA) is a non-profit organisation, established in 2008 in Sofia, Bulgaria. It has aim to implement initiatives that contribute to effective change in the field of education and training – a change to practical education, which effectively masters key competencies and helps learners to enhance their potential for successful professional and social realization. CCTA’s activities are focused on lifelong learning, in-service teacher training and youth initiatives. We collaborate with all educational organisations in the mainstream education from pre-school to high- school level, incl. vocational high-schools. CCTA provides qualification courses for primary, secondary and high school teachers on programs approved and recognized by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science (in accordance to the Bulgarian legislation). More than 8000 teachers had been trained through short qualification courses by the trainers of the Center. Our activities in the field of training of pedagogical and other specialists is ISO 9001:2015 certified. The short-term courses we provide to educators cover topics such as: School in the cloud; Virtual and augmented reality in the learning environment; Design and deployment of ICT; Tools for attractive education; Workshop for innovative educational practices; Developing presentation skills, and others. Part of every training, related to ICT is the topic of the meaningful use of technologies in the educational environment. We collaborate with schools to help them to achieve educational transformation through technologies in school administration  and  in  the  teaching  process,  as  well  as  through  modernisation  of  the  school technologicel infrastructure. CCTA is a member of the DigComp Community of Practice, engaged in public consultations and contributing to the DigComp 2.2 revision process. It is also the coordinator of an Erasmus+ KA3 Policy Innovation project (https://seeval-project.eu/) which aims to develop the social and emotional learning of teachers at school.
